BOAT TOUR EAST END FULL DAY (from 8.00am to 5.00pm)
Consider it as a special trip that will take you to non touristic spots and far away from the crowds. You would be cruising in a comfortable speed boat, within the calm waters of the lagoon, inside the barrier reef.
The first stop would be after about 45 minutes ride, in the area of Pristine Bay. Here we will take you for the first snorkeling where you could encounter Starfish, Stingrays and Flounders… among the other regulars.
We will then continue toward the East End of the island and the semi deserted, stunning beautiful beach called Camp Bay. Here we would stop for an hour or so, have a picnic lunch, to then continue toward the largest Mangroves Channel in the Island called Helene’s Channel.
This particular natural channel separated Roatan from Saint Helene. The Mangrove Forest are known as a natural nursery where you could spot juveniles of all kind.
Helene’s channel is less than a mile long and will let us cross to the other side of the island, exiting on the South.
We would then start our return toward West End while passing many small and large Communities like Oak Ridge, Port Royal, French Harbour, Coxen Hole, Flower’s Bay, to finally arrive back to to West Bay and West End.
You could also extend the trip all the way to BARBARETA’S & PIGEON CAY (now completely submersed) where you would swim with juvenile Sharks! Snorkeling here is particularly beautiful. And the scenery is breathtaking.
Cost for the EAST END boat tour is $200 per person. If you’d wish to also extend to Pigeon Cay, the cost would be $250 per person.
Price is included of anything you’d need: guide, captain, snorkeling gear, drinks, fruits and picnic lunch. We normally need 6 people minimum for this tour and if your party is too small and you don’t wish to be exclusive, we would scout for more people to join.
Other options for shorter snorkeling trips are the BOAT TOUR HALF DAYS from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm or from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm. We would explore the North or the South side of the island, based on the wind conditions. Up to 3 snorkeling stops. Cost for these tours will be $100 per person included of: guide, captain, snorkeling gear, fruits and drinks.
One more option offered is the LOCAL SNORKELING TRIP within 1 mile range from our location. Iconic snorkel sites like Blue Channel, Half Moon Bay, West End Wall and so on. Cost is $35 per person with 1 outing. Also included of guide, captain, snorkel gear, fruits and drinks. Ours are 8.30 am – 10.30 am and 1.30 pm.
